Sony Ericsson’s flagship dual-core Android phone definitely loves posing for the cameras. The Android phone codenamed the Sony Ericsson Xperia Nozomi, also rumored to be called the Sony Ericsson Xperia arc HD, has been caught on camera again.
Some time ago, the Sony Ericsson Xperia arc HD showed itself on candid camera, and then later on, the Sony Ericsson Xperia LT26i appeared again on a poster or brochure of some sort. This time, though, we get a better view of the Nozomi compared the previous leaked photos that appeared as blurry and as fuzzy as the Sony Ericsson Nozomi’s real moniker when it hits the market.
The new photos this time were leaked by an unknown source to GSMArena, along with confirmation of some of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Nozomi specs that earlier trickled out as rumors. For instance, the source confirmed that the Sony Ericsson Xperia arc HD (presuming that will be the name of this dual-core Android phone) will indeed have twin cores, both ticking at 1.5 GHz, from Qualcomm. The Nozomi’s graphics power will get its boost from a Qualcomm Adreno 220 GPU. A full gigabyte of RAM will be available for the system to use with multitasking.
Other sweet treats tipped by the leak’s source include confirmation of Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread underneath, and a 4.3-inch LCD touchscreen with the full glam of an HD resolution (1280×720).
Rumors of a 12-megapixel main camera for the Xperia arc HD are also true, said the tipster. That’s more than enough pixelage for Full HD video recording and high-res images. Plus, with rumors about the camera’s using a Sony Exmor R sensor, one can expect great things from this device.
And so, you can capture footage in 1080p Full HD quality, and stream that to your HDTV through the Nozomi’s HDMI interface, which the source also confirmed.
Now, here are the mood killers: no microSD card slot, although the Xperia arc HD seems to be heading for two versions: a 16 GB version and a 32 GB version. The device doesn’t appear to have a removable battery either. It does have, however, a micro SIM card slot.
Revel in these clear shots:
