While India has yet to wait it out a bit for the Motorola Moto G to arrive on its shores, Motorola Mobility has started to roll out Android 4.4.2 KitKat to the phone’s variant on Boost Mobile.
Motorola product manager Punit Soni made the announcement earlier this week in a post on The Official Motorola Blog. Soni also announced in the same post the arrival of Android 4.4.2 KitKat for the Fido and Rogers variants of the Motorola Moto X in Canada.
The software upgrade for the Boost Mobile Motorola Moto G will provide several new features and a host of improvements over the earlier Android version that it came with. At its initial release, the Boost Mobile Moto G ran on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
The Boost Mobile Motorola Moto G comes with a quad-core 1.2-GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, 1.0 GB of RAM, 4.5-inch High Definition display with Corning Gorilla Glass, 5-megapixel camera, and 2,070-mAh Li-ion battery. The phone also uses nano-coating technology to make it liquid-repellent for added protection.
