Owing to a leaked list of minimum advertised prices (MAP) for upcoming Android smartphones and Android tablets on Verizon Wireless, it is already pretty much well known that the soon-to-be-released and now-available-for-preorder Motorola DROID RAZR costs $299.99 with a two-year contract.  Recently leaked information, however, uncovers the Motorola DROID RAZR full retail price–and it’s $649.99 (without contract).

The leaked price for the Motorola DROID RAZR went public courtesy of Droid Life, which received the tip from a source that appears to have access to Verizon’s database.  Apart from the leaked price, sources also sent in a clear image of what seems to be an official features overview sheet of the DROID RAZR.  The spec sheet reiterates pretty much what is already known about the Motorola DROID RAZR:

  • 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced touchscreen display
  • 960×540 resolution
  • Corning Gorilla Glass protection
  • 8-megapixel main camera with LED flash
  • 1080p Full HD video recording
  • secondary camera capable of HD video capture
  • 3.5-mm headset jack
  • KEVLAR fiber back cover
  • water-resistant nanocoated body
  • microSD card slot
  • Micro USB and Micro HDMI ports

What the leaked features sheet does not say, however, are the other non-visible Motorola DROID RAZR specs, which include the following:

  • 1.2 GHz, dual-core Texas Instruments OMAP 4430 processor
  • 1 GB RAM
  • 16 GB internal storage
  • microSD card expansion up to 32 GB
  • Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and DLNA connectivity
  • 1,780-mAh battery (up to 12.5 hours continuous talk time, and up to 204 hours on standby)
Those specs and features make the Motorola DROID RAZR’s  300-dollar on-contract price and the 650-dollar full retail price seem like a flea-market bargain.  And, yeah, that is also the cost of getting a locked bootloader along with this Android smartphone.
